Get back to where you once belonged – in Google Reader

Well lookie here! Someone has heard our pleas and made a browser extension to make things right! When it comes down to it I probably won’t use it, since I like the Send To button better now that I’m actually using it to blog. However, for those of you whose lives the Reader changes also destroyed, this may be the solution for you!

I’d like to take a moment while I have you here to say that Lifehacker is one of my favorite blogs. Every time I read my feed from them I star at least one article, hoping that someday I have the time and inclination to try it out. The problem is that I’m too lazy, and play too many video games. But if I had all of the time and the monies, I’d be trying out LH tips left and right.

This may be tipping my nerd hat a bit too much, but now I can’t get that Andrew Marvell poem out of my head. “If we had world enough and time / this coyness, lady, were no crime.” Oh, Marvell…good old 17th-century horndog [full poem]. And I’m suddenly sad, considering that the modern day equivalent of this brilliant poem is “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull [youtube]. Oh well…I guess all we can do is grab somebody sexy and tell ’em about how your vegetable love is vaster than empires, or something.
