Chateau Le Coin is a largely Merlot Bordeaux blend. We served it lightly chilled and paired with chipotle-rubbed pork tenderloin.
The appearance was ruby and very leggy. The aroma was plum and spice. The taste was strongly tannic and acidic, with a long finish.
It definitely wasn’t great, but also wasn’t too terrible. I give it 2/5 stars.
